Audio slideshow features the work of French photographer Didier Lefevre, and graphic artist Emmanuel Guibert. Their book, The Photographer, tells the story of Lefevre's trip into Afghanistan in 1986. He was there to document a Doctors without Borders mission.

United Kingdom / Republic of Ireland, 12 February, 2008: Canon congratulates British photographer Tim Hetherington, winner of World Press Photo of the Year 2007. The winning image was taken by Tim Hetherington on 16 September 2007. It shows a US soldier resting at Restrepo bunker a base in Afghanistans Korengal Valley, named after a platoon member killed by insurgents. This is the seventh consecutive year that a photographer relying on Canon EOS equipment has won the award.
 
Beginning in 1995 and visiting over a four-year period, photographer Craig J. Barber, ex-combat Marine returned to Vietnam to traverse many of his former military routes making images with an 8 x 10 pinhole camera. Jeanne Verhulst discusses some of her favorite works in this traveling exhibition.
 
Many have seen the images of the collision, the burning towers, the fall and the rubble. Eight Magnum Photographers give their eyewitness accounts of the attack and their perspectives on the consequences, five years later.
