Bay Area Photographer Douglas Menuez presents the story of a dance troupe comprised of Ugandan orphans who tour to support themselves and the children of two orphanages in Uganda. Formed by Alexis Hefley in 1996 The Children of Uganda raise awareness for the continuing HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa while supporting the 700 orphans that live in the two Children of Uganda homes. Reader's Digest will be doing an article on the book in the March 2008 issue.
